What does ELICIT do?
At ELICIT, we believe that mapping, capturing and sharing experential knowledge on the shop floor leads to better day-to-day production.
Access to the knowledge and experience of experts helps employees set machines correctly, resolve errors quickly, and maintain product quality.
Our ELICIT method maps out the essential knowledge and decisions within the production process through a few structured conversations with experts.

How it began
During his doctoral research at the University of Twente, Wouter Schotborgh investigated how to quickly and systematically capture valuable experiential knowledge from experts. He discovered that with just 110 targeted questions, you can capture how an expert does their job.
Based on this discovery, he developed the ELICIT method. This method makes it possible to capture expert knowledge in a structured way.
